Tees Barrage

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to make Wet West again.  So I/we decided we should head over and check out the redeveloped Tees barrage.  Unfortunately the short course and the conveyor were out of action.  However, we all had a good session and despite not being that good a playboater and bruising my foot I even enjoyed myself for the whole day!

I had only been to the old course once before and my memory is a tad hazy so I cant really compare.  I was told by a couple of the others that it was definitely deeper in places.  I will definitely go back but I will wait for the short course and the conveyor to be working.

  1. Nice Vid!!
Did the same with my feet while going for a loop, still hurts! The conveyor hardly works when it’s up and running anyway I slid down from the top and nearly squished a fellow paddler.

    • Thats why it is shut, the belt is not grippy enough. Going back to the contractors to be sorted along with the hydraulic ram that is broken preventing the short course from running.
